Annually, scholars from Historically Black Colleges and Universities host the conference as a forum to continue the work of ASBS. The theme of the 88th Conference is Bridging Divides: Theory and Practice in a Polarized World. The conference will be held in New Orleans, LA on March 18-21, 2026. Previous conferences include:
