Yeah, it's cathartic. I've played many of these games and as well as playing WoW in the past, before returning the time of War III, you realize the impact War III had on it. I didn't have the opportunity to be part of the company in the early days but the team was working to transform that one game into another, and of course it was ingrained into WOW WoTLK Classic Gold their minds what the world should be about and how we could advance this to the next step. For the majority of us, we aren't aware of how much of the foundation is there until you revisit it.
There are even some campaigns, which have something we'd consider a side-quest that's not just a divergence on the map. It's like finding an Easter egg from World of Warcraft, but you've realised that it's located situated in South Shore, or that's located in Westfall It's like the people you meet on the cart, who are carrying their own deeds in Westfall. I'm assuming that a lot gamers will say"Hey I'm sure they stole it from WOW', and then it'll be"No No, no It was there first.' This is the basis of this. It's amazing about it, is the realization of how interconnected these two are.
I have to admit that it was quite a surprise to find many similarities to the games I've played from WoW. I've not been playing War III for 15 years and then looking back over the arc and seeing there was a lot of stuff was from World of Warcraft was based on World of Warcraft, like I was thinking World of Warcraft came up with this. I was like, "Oh my goodness it all comes out of World of Warcraft.' This is the time to bring them to life and shine compared to the way the old school was like.
Some of it is encased in technology. Many people won't be aware the WoW engine was based upon World of Warcraft's engine. It was just a matter of taking the engine, built it and retrofitted it with a few other things, and then they've created an actual WoW engine. We've taken what they developed the engine of War III, and then transferred it to us and incorporated the majority of their tech and are now putting an even greater amount of it onto it. In the backend the thing that most people don't be able to see, understand or appreciate the fact the fact that these games are interspersed, not just in the story, but also in actual development. It's really fascinating.
In recent years it seems that the RTS has been pushed to the side in favour more genres. In particular, is the MOBA game genre that initially conceived as an World of Warcraft mod. In this game, are you looking at how the fans of all kinds react to this?
We'd like to be sensitive towards the idea that once again we believe we have a great story in this. If, for any else reason than that, we like players from different genres and not only MOBA and similar games, however World of Warcraft itself is quite similar in the sense that you have an underlying character and you're equipped with a variety of buy WoTLK Classic Gold awesome capabilities. They're very similar to an archetype, giving the players an opportunity to go into the game and feel at ease with it and not be scared by the prospect of building a town and also destroying the opponent's city, or anything such as that, are something we're currently contemplating, and could be great design issues for our team. In light of that concept of Reforged, or similar it, let's create a version which people could come to, truly like, and perhaps eventually become an RTS player after their second try, in which they'll play on the hard setting, and actually get forced into playing RTS.
