Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the 2021 ASBS Annual Conference will not be held this year.  We hope that you and your families

are safe and doing well.   We hope the virus will be under control soon and that we will be able to meet in Jackson, Mississippi next year.

Best wishes!

About ASBS

The Association of Social and Behavioral Scientists, Inc. was founded in 1935 by Theophilus E. McKinney at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina to provide a forum for social science teachers in Negro colleges to  assemble and discuss trends in education and the curricula needs of their students.  The organization was established as the Association of Social Science Teachers and has grown into an interdisciplinary organization that continues to honor its rich history of examining critical issues that impact Black people.
